I like to make the joke that I came out of the womb with a camera in my hand. My dad was the king of home videos and my mom had a Minolta that came with us everywhere, and those tapes and film scans are still the things I treasure most. It is the reason film sits alongside digital in every wedding I shoot.

Three things shape the way I work: time, intentionality and trust. There is a myth that you have to choose between candid and editorial. Both happen naturally on a wedding day, and knowing how to fold the best of each into your photos is the whole job. None of it happens in a rush.

My dad is my hero, and the way he served people is the model for how I run this business. Radical service means going past what is listed in a package, being generous with time and energy, and being the friend in the room who notices the tear before it falls.
